This spring, American Airlines is making it simpler for Bostonians to escape to the favored seashores of South Carolina’s Hilton Head Island.
The Fort Worth, Texas-based provider is adding nonstop seasonal service to the leisure destination starting April 10. Hilton Head Island was named the No. 1 island in the U.S. in Conde Nast Traveler‘s 2020 Readers’ Choice Awards survey.
“As more customers choose to travel to warm weather markets, American looks forward to beginning new seasonal service connecting Boston to the renowned beaches and golf courses on and around Hilton Head Island,” mentioned Jim Moses, vice chairman of northeast hubs and gateways for American Airlines, in an announcement. “Customers can book confidently knowing American now offers more flexibility and choice than ever before.”
The Saturday flights from Logan International Airport to Hilton Head Island Airport, provided by May 29, might be operated with an E-175 plane that includes 12 first-class seats and 64 seats in the primary cabin. The flights will depart Boston at 11 a.m.
“This added seasonal route from Boston provides another opportunity for travelers to fly right to the island and is a continuation of a long-standing partnership with American Airlines,” mentioned Jon Rembold, airports director for Beaufort County and of the Hilton Head Island Airport, in an announcement.
Tickets can be found on the American Airlines website.
